Marcus "Chunky" Adams

Marcus "Chunky" Adams is a retired Canadian football defensive tackle who played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for eight seasons. He was also on the rosters of the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL, the Colorado Crush and Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League, and the Peoria Rough Riders. Carla Bradstock

Carla Bradstock is a retired Canadian Female National Team volleyball player. She was part of the Canadian Women's National volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan. In 2011, Carla played in the PanAm Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. Carla also played professional volleyball in Sollentuna, Sweden; Linz, Austria; and Baku, Azerbaijan. Previous to playing professionally, Carla was the MVP at the 2008 Canadian University National Championships, winning a gold medal in her final year for the University of British Columbia. After retirement from volleyball, Carla went on to be a delegate for Miss Universe Canada in 2012!

Rob Cherepuschak

Rob Cherepuschak provides guidance, support and a fun learning environment as the Academy Coordinator at the Martin Baseball Academy in Regina, SK. Rob's leadership and commitment to developing athletics and education Sask. has been nationally recognized. Rob's experiences have allowed him the opportunity help develop young men both on and off the field. Rob served as the pitching coach for Team Saskatchewan ('01 - '05), culminating in 2005 at the Canada Summer Games. Following this experience, Rob served as the pitching coach for the Regina Red Sox of the Western Major Baseball League, then became the field manager where he guided the Red Sox to two league finals and the Red Sox first WMBL Championship in 2011. Rob is currently the Director of Player Personnel with the Red Sox.

Robert Dunn

At 18 years old, Robert is already three years into his career as a professional Ski Cross racer. At 16 he made his intercontinental racing debut at the under 21 world champions, where he placed 6th. This up and coming racer is on the Alberta Ski Cross team, and trains out of Calgary, Alberta.

Ricky Foley

Ricky Foley is a Dominant Defensive End for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Rickey was drafted by the BC Lions in the first round of the 2006 CFL Draft. Ricky has been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, the Seattle Seahawks and the New York Jets in the NFL. Ricky won the 100th Grey Cup with the Toronto Argonauts. After the Grey Cup game, Ricky was awarded the "Most Valuable Canadian" Award. Ricky played University football at York University.

Daria Gaiazova

Daria Gaiazova is a Canadian cross-country skier who has been competing since 2001. Daria participated in the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

Haislan Garcia

Haislan Garcia is a three-time Canadian Olympian. 2008 in Beijing, 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio. He represented Canada for the first time at the 2008 Pan American Championships where he won silver. He went on to compete in his first Olympic Games at Beijing 2008. He added three more Pan Am Championship medals in 2009, 2010 and 2011 before heading to his second Olympic Games at London 2012, where he made it to the quarterfinals. Garcia has made six world championship appearances, beginning in 2009, and recorded his best result in 2010 when he finished fifth. Garcia has stood on numerous international podiums, including the Dave Schultz Memorial where he won gold in 2010 and 2011 as well as bronze in 2013. In 2014 he stood atop the podium at the Canada Cup and Bill Farrell Memorial. Garcia made his Pan Am Games debut at Toronto 2015 where he won a bronze medal.

Chris Getzlaf

Chris Getzlaf is a Canadian professional football slotback who is currently a member of the Edmonton Eskimos. Chris played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for eight seasons before becoming a free agent in 2016. Chris played his University football for the University of Regina Rams.

Ryan Getzlaf

Ryan Getzlaf is a Canadian Olympian and an NHL Superstar who currently serves as captain of the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Ryan has played his entire professional career in the Ducks organization and ranks as one of the franchise's all-time leading scorers. Ryan has played in three NHL All-Star Games and was a member of the Ducks' 2007 Stanley Cup championship team. Getzlaf has led the Ducks in assists seven times, including a franchise record of 66 in 2008–09. Getzlaf was also a member of the 2005 World Junior Championship squad considered the greatest in Canadian history, and won a silver medal at the 2008 IIHF World Championship. A two-time Olympian, Getzlaf played with Canadian teams that won gold medals at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Games. Active within the Orange County community, Getzlaf hosts an annual golf tournament on behalf of CureDuchenne, an organization that seeks a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He also maintains a program with the Calgary Hitmen called "Getzlaf's Gamers," which allows underprivileged children to attend games.

Kate Gillis

Captain of the Canadian Women's National Field Hockey Team, Kate Gillis is one of the most internationally experienced members of the Canadian national field hockey team with more than 130 senior caps to her credit. The biggest highlight of her career thus far has been helping Canada win bronze at the 2013 Pan American Cup and being named to the Pan American Cup Woman's Elite Team.. She was also part of Canada’s fourth place finish at the 2011 Pan Am Games in Guadalajara and made two appearances at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 and 2014. Kate began her collegiate career at Boston College where she scored nine goals in 39 games and was the school’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman. She then transferred to the University of British Columbia to be closer to the national team and helped the Thunderbirds win their third and fourth straight CIS national titles in 2013 and 2014.Kate was a two-time CIS First Team All Canadian while at UBC!

Christine Girard

A two-time Olympian, Christine Girard captured bronze at the 2012 London Games in the women’s weightlifting 63kg division four years after finishing fourth in Beijing and missing out on a medal by a narrow three kilogram margin. Girard captured gold at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico to improve on her second place finish from 2007. Girard also had a top-10 finish at the 2011 World Championships in Paris, France. Christine is also a two-time Commonwealth Games medallist - Bronze in 2002 and Silver in 2006!

Nikola Girke

FOUR time Olympian Sailor, Nikola Girke’s life motto “Dare to Dream, Dare to Achieve, Dare to Succeed” is inspired by her idol Terry Fox who said “I just wish people would realize that anything’s possible if you try. Dreams are made if people try.” Girke followed that advice after her father passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1997. Having stopped sailing while he was sick, she gave up her comfortable life to pursue her Olympic dream. She is now among the few to compete in two different Olympic classes, debuting in the 470 at Athens 2004 before switching to the RS:X in 2005, qualifying for Beijing 2008 and London 2012. She competed in a third boat class, the new mixed Nacra 17, at Rio 2016 with partner Luke Ramsay, finishing 15th. As Canada’s top female windsurfer, Girke recorded the country’s best-ever Olympic result in the event with her 10th place finish at London 2012. After only windsurfing a few times since those Games, she jumped back on the board and with just a week of training earned the lone Canadian berth in the women’s RS:X for TORONTO 2015, where she began competing just two days after the Nacra 17 world championships. Ramsay and Girke had a great start to 2016, qualifying for Rio with their 15th place finish at the Miami World Cup and following that up with a 15th place finish at the Nacra 17 world championships.

Bakari Grant is the team leading wide receiver for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Bakari was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Bakari played college football at UC Davis.

Bret Haacke is a retired Professional Mixed Martial Artist and Muay Thai Fighter from Canada, who was once ranked as the #2 fighter in Canada. Bret is now a renowned Muay Thai Coach.

CFL All-Star Linebacker with the B.C. Lions. Anton is also a two-time Grey Cup Champion with the B.C. Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Anton was a College stand out with the University of Massachusetts.

Dustin Molleken

Dustin Molleken is a Canadian professional baseball pitcher for the MLB Detroit Tigers. Dustin has also played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, and in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers and Cleveland Indians. Dustin also plays for the Canadian National Baseball team. In 2011, he participated in the 2011 Baseball World Cup, winning the Bronze medal and at the Pan American Games, winning the Gold medal!

Marc Mueller

Marc Mueller is the current Running Backs Coach of the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. In college, Marc played quarterback for the Regina Rams of the CIS. He signed as an un-drafted free agent with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League following the 2011 CFL Draft. Marc left Regina with several school records including career pass-completion percentage (62.1), single-season records in pass attempts (310 in 2009), pass completions (182 in 2010) and pass-completion percentage (67.8 in 2012) and single-game records in most attempted passes (55 in 2012 against Manitoba) and pass-completion percentage (78.4 in 2012 at Saskatchewan).

Julia Murray

Julia competed in her hometown 2010 Olympics in Whistler, British Columbia (12th place), despite a badly blown knee. Next year in 2011, Julia went on to become a World Champion Silver Medallist also on a serious knee injury (unknown at the time of the race).
